"Antifa" show their true colours in Lewisham

If you were a nasty fascist who spent your time trying to bully and intimidate your political opponents in to silence, but you wanted to disguise this fact, what would you call yourself? If you were particularly devious, you’d probably call yourself an “anti-fascist”.

If you were a nasty fascist who spent your time trying to bully and intimidate your political opponents in to silence, but you wanted to disguise this fact, what would you call yourself? If you were particularly devious, you’d probably call yourself an “anti-fascist”. If you were a racist, obsessed with skin colour and never seeing an individual as an individual, how would you best disguise this fact? If you were particularly devious, you’d probably call yourself an “anti-racist”. If you were bristling with hatred such that you would be happy to inflict violence on those with whom you disagree, how would you disguise this fact? If you were particularly devious, you’d probably accuse everyone else of ‘hate’.

Welcome to "Antifa" - fascists and racists consumed with hatred, and who cunningly distract from this by projecting their own inadequacies on to others. My campaign in Lewisham East has once again shown Antifa for what they are – intolerant bigots incapable of honest debate.

I’ve been informed that “anti-fascist” (i.e. fascist) groups in South London have taken it upon themselves to demand that I should be excluded from the candidate hustings next week. Both organisers and venue have received emails portraying me as the Devil himself – proving once again that they have never taken the time to actually listen to what I say. I am an opponent of hate, and if they bothered to look, they would see that quite clearly.

A group calling itself the “South London Anti-Fascists” organized a meeting this week to plot the disruption of my campaign in Lewisham, and to deny me (and voters) our democratic right to free speech and open debate. The reason for this is of course obvious; they can’t allow open debate, or my voice to be heard, simply because they cannot answer me. They have no response to the facts that I state and they know that if the public were to hear For Britain’s message, vast numbers would agree with us. So instead of honest debate, they opt for intimidation and censorship. It won’t work however, because despite being propped up by a biased media and career politicians, the British public knows better. The British people know a bully when they see one, and they recognize someone who has no argument so indulges in childish tantrums instead.

Speaking of which, I’m also told (though this hasn’t been confirmed) that the Labour candidate Janet Daby will boycott next week’s hustings in protest at my presence there. How convenient. Daby also has no answers to the issues I raise, and so instead of taking the opportunity to debate, she ducks out and claims the moral high-ground by refusing to ‘share a platform’. That she feels no need to present a case to the people of Lewisham is just another example of an arrogant Labour Party that thinks it has a right to power in areas like south London.

This won’t last. The fascist intent of the hard-left is becoming more and more apparent, and the voting public more aware.  I am calling for an open and honest discussion about Islam, immigration, the public sector, the EU, British democracy and freedom, and what kind of future we want to build. This is what democracy is about. So I have to ask, just what is it that the “anti-fascists” are so afraid of?
