travelling the country

I’ve been busy in recent weeks travelling the country and getting to know our members and activists. Thank you to everyone for welcoming me, first to Manchester, where we had a full house and gained new members. You can watch my speech here.

I’ve been busy in recent weeks travelling the country and getting to know our members and activists. Thank you to everyone for welcoming me, first to Manchester, where we had a full house and gained new members. You can watch my speech here.

Following this, I went to Epping Forest where we heard from Lucy Brown, she talked about her recent encounter with the BBC, and their attempts to persuade her to smear Tommy Robinson. You can watch Lucy here.

Nissar Hussain also spoke at this event and told us of his persecution at the hands of Muslims in Bradford on the basis of his conversion from Islam to Christianity. Nissar is one of many ex-Muslims facing injustice and even violence in the UK and For Britain will continue to support them and give them a voice in politics. You can watch Nissar’s powerful speech here.

I met members in Morton in March on April 6th where a new branch is in the making, and the following day we hosted an animal welfare event in Conway Hall in central London. We heard powerful speeches from animal welfare activists Lawrence Rogers and Max Balfour.

Watch a personal account from anti-hunt activist Lawrence Rogers.

For Britain’s Max Balfour, chairman of our South Kent branch told us of her protests against the live export of animals.
